Reading and storing these instructions
These instructions are for this 8″ air circulator fan (referred to as "fan" below). They contain important information on setup and handling.
Before using the fan, read the instructions for use carefully. This particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or damage to the fan.
Store these instructions for any further use. Make sure to include these instructions when passing the fan on to third parties.
Proper use
The fan is designed exclusively for indoor areas. It is only intended for personal use and is not suitable for commercial use.
Only use the fan as described in the instructions. Any other use is considered improper and can result in material damage or even in harm to persons. The fan is not a toy.
The manufacturer or retailer assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper or incorrect use.

General safety information
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed. Please read and save all instructions before using the air circulator fan. Keep away from water!
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse power cord or plug in water or any other liquid. This is an electrical appliance. To avoid the risk of electrical shock or serious personal injury, always operate with dry hands.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children. This fan is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the fan by a person responsible for their safety.
- This product is intended for indoor household use only and not for commercial or industrial appliances.
- Do not allow the fan to be used as a toy.
- ALWAYS turn the fan off before removing the plug from the outlet.
- ALWAYS turn the fan off and unplug it immediately after using and before cleaning.
- To protect against electrical hazards, do not place the fan in water or other liquids.
- DO NOT allow the fan to become wet or damp.
- DO NOT store the fan where it can fall into water or other liquids.
- Turn the fan off when leaving the fan for an extended period.
- NEVER submerge the fan in water or any other liquids
- Use the fan only for its intended use as described in these operating instructions.
- DO NOT unplug by pulling on the cord. To unplug the fan, grasp the plug, not the cord.
- DO NOT operate any appliance if its cord or plug is damaged, after the appliance has malfunctioned, or after it has been dropped or damaged in any way. Always follow the warranty instructions.
- Avoid contact with moving parts.
- DO NOT obstruct the airflow.
- NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening OR into the area protected by the guards.
- DO NOT operate the fan without the front guard/grill in place.
- DO NOT operate the fan directly adjacent to curtains, plants, window covers, etc. to avoid accidental entanglement or create a fire hazard.
- DO NOT use the fan if it has not been fully assembled. Make sure that the screws that hold the feet and main unit together are tightened securely.
- Keep the cord away from heavy traffic areas. To avoid fire hazard, NEVER put cord under rugs, radiators, or stoves.
- To maintain operating efficiency, user should not operate the fan 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
NOTICE!
This fan employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuits situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the fan from the outlet. Replace the fuse and check the fan. If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may be present and you should contact customer service for instructions.
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
- To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.
- Do not run the cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange the cord away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over.
- The use of attachments is not recommended and may cause hazards.
WARNING!
This fan employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuits situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the fan from the outlet. Replace the fuse and check the fan. If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may be present and you should contact customer service for instructions.
CAUTION! A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords are available from local hardware stores and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is required, special care and caution is necessary. Also, the cord must be: (1) marked with an electrical rating of 125V, and at least 13 A., 1625 W, and (2) the cord must be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over accidentally.
NOTICE!
Polarized plug
- This fan has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
- As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
- If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
- If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
Electric power
If electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your air circulator fan may not operate properly. The air circulator fan should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other operating appliances.
WARNING!
Although your air circulator fan is easy to operate, for your safety, the warnings below must be followed:
- Do not place the fan near a heat source.
- Never leave the fan unattended while connected to the electrical outlet.
- Use the fan on a stable flat surface away from water.
- Do not unplug from the wall outlet by pulling on the supply cord. – The fan must be unplugged:
- After each use. – If it appears to be faulty.
- Before cleaning or maintenance.
To replace the fuse:
- Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. CAUTION: Do not unplug by pulling on the power cord.
- Open the fuse compartment cover on top of the plug by sliding it towards the plug prongs. (Fig. C1)
- Using a small flat blade screwdriver, carefully remove the fuse by prying it up from the end closest to the cord. (Fig. C2)
- Risk of fire can result by using the wrong fuse rating. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt rating. (not included)
- Close the fuse compartment cover by sliding it away from the plug prongs. (Fig. C3)
WARNING!
Risk of fire
Do not replace the plug as it contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Contact customer service if the plug is damaged.
First use
Checking the fan and the package contents
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you open the packaging carelessly using a sharp knife or other sharp objects, the fan may quickly become damaged.
- Remove the fan from the packaging
- Check the package for completeness (see Fig. A).
- Check whether the fan or the individual parts are damaged. If this is the case, do not use the fan. Contact the manufacturer via the service address indicated on the warranty card.
User instructions
Place the fan on a level and dry surface. Plug the power cord into a polarized 120V AC wall outlet.
- Select the desired speed O (Off), L (Low), M (Medium), H (High) (see Fig. B).
- Adjust the angle of the fan to the desired air output direction.
- To move the fan, turn fan OFF and use concealed carrying handle on back of fan.
Wall Mounting (optional)
- Locate and mark a suitable position on the wall to mount the fan (preferably at a wall stud).
- Hold the fan against the wall at the location you would like it to be installed.
- Use a pencil to mark the location of the mount opening screw holes on the base of
the fan. Place fan aside and drill pilot holes through the marks you have made on the wall. - Insert anchors (not included) into the holes.
- Place mount screws (not included) through the holes in the wall mount openings, and then place the fan into position on the wall.
- Tighten the screws until the wall mount is flush against the wall.
- Once securely attached to the wall, the fan can be plugged into an electrical outlet.
Cleaning and Maintenance
CAUTION!
Always be sure that the appliance is switched OFF before cleaning the appliance or attempting to store the item.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE AIR CIRCULATOR FAN IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE MATERIAL TO CLEAN THE SURFACE!
- Before cleaning, turn the fan off and unplug from electrical outlet.
- Wipe off excess dust with a lint free cloth.
- A vacuum cleaner brush attachment can be used to clean the fan guards. This will help remove lint and dirt from inside the fan. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE THE FAN APART. A can of compressed air may also be used to help push any excess dirt out of the fan and into the vacuum cleaner.
- DO NOT immerse the fan in water and never allow the water to enter the motor housing.
- DO NOT use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the fan.

Storage
